General Info - Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in becoming a volunteer usher for the Majestic and Charline McCombs Empire Theatres. Arts Center Enterprises, Inc. takes pride in its volunteer ushers and we look forward to welcoming you to our family.

Volunteer ushers give the first and most lasting impression of the Majestic and Charline McCombs Empire Theatres. As a volunteer, you will also have the privilege of meeting many new and exciting people as well as seeing some of the best performances in the entertainment world today.

Ushers must be 18 or older. To become a new usher you MUST attend volunteer training. These classes are held regularly at the Majestic Theatre. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please follow the instructions below and we will contact you as the next training date approaches.

  • If you are already registered for volunteer training...
    The day of your Volunteer Training class, please enter through the front doors of the Majestic Theatre located on Houston Street. PLEASE BE PROMPT - doors will be closed at the begining of each session. Training lasts approximately 3 hours. Please come prepared to stay for the entire session. Since we will be touring both the Majestic and Empire theatres be sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes. We look forward to meeting you soon.
